The Bipolar Monster...

          ...and Your Child

     BipolarMonster

Is your child showing signs of depression? Or anger? Does he or she have anxiety or fear that is interfering with school or other situations? Maybe behavior that seems addictive or obsessive? These could be early signs of Bipolar Disorder.

Whacky? Strange? Mad? Crazy? Insane? Not very nice words to describe a child, right? But, the "Bipolar Monster", if it has taken control of your child, may cause your child to act in these ways.

I am not an expert on childhood Bipolar Disorder in general, but I am an expert when it comes to MY child's Bipolar symptoms. My son had various symptoms from the age of 5, and I wish I had known then what I know now. I had never even heard of Bipolar back then, much less suspected my son had it. Maybe if I had known why he was struggling so much in his early years, he would have gotten the help he desperately needed.

I have witnessed the "Bipolar Monster" take over my precious son's mind, body, and soul too many times in his 20 years. If you love someone suffering with Bipolar Disorder, I am sure you have seen the "Monster" too!

I haven't found many websites dedicated to parents of children with Bipolar Disorder.  This is the reason I have made this website, and wrote the Bipolar Monster eBook.  To help parents who are maybe not sure what their child is experiencing emotionally.  If you suspect your child may have Bipolar and you would like to read about a specific case of childhood Bipolar, then...

Arm yourself with knowledge now.

Don't let this happen to your child!

Don't let this happen to YOU!

Download and read the Bipolar Monster eBook!  Experience, through my story, what Bipolar has looked like in my child from age 5 to the present.

I am not a doctor, nor am I qualified to diagnose and treat anyone. I am just a mom sharing my story.

If you recognize your child in how I describe my son's symptoms, please get him or her evaluated early. If you do, you will still have control over your child's treatment and hospitalizations (if needed), and will have a better chance at getting your child's moods stablized.

Unfortunately, my son was diagnosed too late...

This website is dedicated to parents with children who are struggling with emotional issues. Specifically, Bipolar Disorder, but could also include any type of mood disorder.

Bipolar Disorder is certainly a "monster" when it attempts to destroy a child, an adult, or a loved one through the confusion, the racing thoughts, the anger, the depression, the lack of judgement, and many more  destructive ways.

Not only does this Bipolar Monster attempt to destroy the victim, but also all those around him or her. It destroys its "host's" relationships, education, employment... life.

Until we can figure out a way to tame it in our child or loved one, we can tame it through our own thoughts and actions.

We do not have to allow the Bipolar Monster to destroy us as we try to take care of our love one who carries this beast around with him or her.

We need to stay healthy and be sure not to be dragged in to the Monster's plans for destruction. The only way we can help our children through their dramatic mood swings and bad decisions, is to take care of ourselves first.

Do not let the Bipolar Monster drag you down!
